Fagor Industrial sponsors San Sebastián Gastronomika and provides the complete equipment for the cooking presentations and demonstrations
Fagor Industrial has sponsored the International Congress San Sebastián Gastronomika - Euskadi Saboréala, which took place between the 20th and 23rd of November in the Kursaal Palace in Donostia-San Sebastián, capital of Guipuzkoa. Hand in hand with the distributor Hosfrinor, Fagor Industrial has supplied all the kitchen machinery and installations used in the presentations and demonstration activities which constitute one of the greatest appeals of this gastronomic event.
Among the equipment provided by Fagor Industrial and Hosfrinor, the most remarkable element has been the Simphony kitchen furniture, located in the main auditorium - where the invited chefs carried out their star demonstrations - and completed with a programmable convection-steamer oven, salamander and various worktops, one of them refrigerated. The other scenario, located in the area known as Small Cube (Cubo Pequeño), was equipped with a programmable convection-steamer oven, worktops and a low element for buffet which incorporated glass-ceramic cooktop and frytop, fryers and electric bains-marie. Therefore, the people attending the Symposium and the sessions have had the opportunity to see personally the capabilities of a wide variety of the components which Fagor Industrial has in the field of professional kitchens.
Also, Fagor Industrial and Hosfrinor supplied complete equipment for the working area used by the cooks who prepared the food to be tasted by the people attending the Symposium. This has comprised both kitchen and cleaning items, such as hood dishwashers, dishwasher tables and an F1-77 sink, with frame and tap. The kitchen equipment has included electric cookers and grills, as well as convection oven and cooling unit, together with a complete range of cupboards, carts and tables - including a refrigerated table and a wall one with basin and tap - and accessories such as cold meat cutters and vacuum-packing machines. The cooking workshop has been equally supplied with equipment from Fagor Industrial, with a low element for buffet with an induction cooker, electric plate, neutral element and electric fryer.
"There are two main reasons for the special meaning that participating in San Sebastián Gastronomika - Euskadi Saboréala has for us", declares Mario López, National Commercial Director of Fagor Industrial.
