Fagor Industrial equips Tenerife restaurant El Mirador de Humboldt
Oñati, Guipúzcoa, 27 June 2012. Fagor Industrial, the leading Spanish company that provides total solutions to the hotel and catering sector, has equipped the kitchen of El Mirador de Humbolt, one of the most innovative and spectacular restaurants in the Canary Islands, located in the town of Orotava (Tenerife).
The El Mirador de Humboldt kitchen is run by award-winning chef Pedro Rodriguez Dios, who was recognised as one of the 20 best young Spanish chefs in 2011. The restaurant combines excellent food and the highest standards of quality with incredible views of the Orotova and Teide valley which can be enjoyed from the dining room.
Through its distributor, Teidehostel, Fagor Industrial completely designed and equipped the restaurant, providing a Symphony cooking unit and a Visual Plus gas oven, two dishwashers (models AD-48 and AD-120-ECO) and a cooling unit. The installation also has remote unit refrigerated counters for temperature maintenance and freezing, as well as a refrigerated cabinet.
Among the reasons that led him to choose Fagor Industrial as supplier for the kitchen, Pedro Rodríguez Dios highlights the fact that "it is a well established brand in the Canary Islands with proven quality and a good technical service capable of resolving any problems almost as they arise". The equipment's attractiveness should be added to its quality and reliability, because as an exposed kitchen it is completely visible from the dining room. "Many clients and diners visits me in the kitchen, and I was concerned that many kitchens aren't particularly photographic, they're not nice to look at. This is a real luxury.".
"At Fagor Industrial we are delighted that they thought of us when they needed to equip such an emblematic restaurant, run by one of the most brilliant chefs in the Canary Islands. We put maximum effort into creating the special design required by an exposed kitchen," explains Peio Bengoetxea, Marketing Director at Fagor International. "Our Symphony units combine maximum functionality with a design that makes maintenance and cleaning easy, as well as meeting the highest aesthetic standards."
