Oñati, Guipúzcoa, 3rd May 2012. Fagor Industrial, the leading Spanish company that provides total solutions for the hotel, collective catering and laundry sector, has supplied equipment for Mes K Net, the first in a new chain of laundrettes with plans to expand across the Autonomous Community of Valencia.

Each new laundrette will be housed in premises that are between 40 and 60 m2. The laundrettes will operate without the need for staff because the entire laundry process is completely automatic, even including the addition of detergent. Fagor Industrial has assisted Mes K Net by advising on the desired characteristics of the premises and by supplying the equipment. The first Mes K Net received two LA-10MA E, two LA-13MA E, and one LA 18-MA E self-service washing machines. It has also been equipped with one SR/E 10 A and two SR/E 13 A tumble dryers.

"We are extremely satisfied to have collaborated with Mes K Net and are sure that this will be the first step towards expansion based on an attractive business model", states Francisco Gómez, Head of the Laundry Division at Fagor Industrial. "Recent changes to the population have led to the appearance of sectors in society that frequently use laundrettes, such as immigrants or single people. Their advantages over home equipment and the price of dry-cleaners also mean families are showing a growing interest in their use."

Fagor Industrial plans to continue its collaboration with Mes K Net as it expands across the Autonomous Community of Valencia. It will open 20 new premises, including its own installations and franchises, during its first year.
