History

Fagor Industrial was born in 1960 as a department of Fagor Electrodomésticos.

In the beginning we started selling enameled industrial ranges for the catering industry, but soon we began our own manufacturing, extending our offering to include dishwashing equipment and professional laundry equipment.

In 1974 Fagor Industrial Sociedad Cooperativa was founded, becoming independent from the main company and moving to Oñati, where the headquarters still remain at present.

In these years Fagor Industrial completed its product range, extending the cooking range to include modular units of 900 and 700 mm depth, introducing new combined ovens (convection + steam), and commercial refrigeration units, and completing the laundry equipment with dryers, ironers and flatwork ironers and a wide range of appliances and accessories for cloth mending and finishing.

In 1997 the Lucena plant in Cordoba was inaugurated, for the manufacturing of commercial refrigeration equipment. Currently strengthened with the opening of 3 new commercial refrigeration plants in Poland, Turkey and Mexico in 2005 and 2006.

At present Fagor Industrial owns 10 manufacturing plants distributed in Spain (5), France, Italy, Poland, Turkey and Mexico. Furthermore, there are 35 own sales offices distributed in 17 countries in the 5 continents.

More than 500 distributors sell and service our products in 90 countries, approximately half of them in Spain.
